Breakfast in Bed

May 9, 2018 · In: Real Story

Periodically over the years, my family has made me breakfast in bed for Mother’s Day. Meals have ranged from a bowl of boxed cereal (with fresh-picked dandelions in a cup) to pancakes and eggs.

Since I am always the first person up in the family, this means I have to go back to bed!  This year I am lucky enough to have my mother visiting me. So I am trying to figure out how this works. Do I let my children make breakfast for both of us, or should I do it?

If I make breakfast I am thinking French toast with bananas and berries. What is your vote?
