Meet O, be Joyful, the plant in the blue pot in the basket. 33 years ago she was a high school graduation gift and went off to college with me. O, be Joyful has lived in 19 houses/apartment in 5 states, as well as my studio space in the design building my senior year (she survived on leftover soda pop) and my offices at work. Every place she has lived she has brought a smile to my face. Over the years I have given many of her “children” away to friends. This week I trimmed O, be Joyful and one of her children to start 2 new plants (glass jars). In the spring I’ll give them to my daughters when they graduate…
Any other ideas I should prepare for my last graduates?
