News from Foyer de Sion Orphanage

October 1, 2018 · In: Lorin's Books, Real Story

I just received word that the board of Foyer de Sion orphanage has dissolved. The web page, Facebook page, and donation links are gone. I said that I was donating 50% of the profits from Mending Walls With the Billionaire Artists & Billionaires #3 to Foyer de Sion. At this point, I am not sure what I can or should do.
On the bright side, I have not made enough money yet to cover the associated costs of publishing so there has not been a profit so there are no donations out in limbo land. (a mixed blessing)
I will be amending the text in the ebook and next print edition to read: “A portion of the profits of this book will be donated to the children of Haiti.” This will allow me to find a new trusted source to get donations I make to the children. As I explained in Mending Walls getting donations into the right hands is not always easy in Haiti.
My apologies to anyone who bought the book specifically so Foyer de Sion would benefit.
As far as I know, I am still able to donate to the Queen Bee’s and their school. Which I will do as soon as I finish covering the costs of the book.

     Thank you for understanding,
