For several years my children took part in 4th of July parades on floats or in marching bands. This will be the third year in a row where no one is in a parade. I probably won’t drive down to the local one, because when you don’t know anyone in the parade, it isn’t the same. (And I don’t like dodging flying candy.)
You’ll find me reading (or writing) an American Historical novel, eating fried chicken, and remembering past parades. If you are in the USA what will you do?
